Rob Walker had a very nasty high speed crash at Mallory today, as a result he was taken to Leicester hospital. I'm sure everybody will join me in sending their best wishes , and hope he has a speedy recovery

Been chatting to Rob yesterday and today, he is at home and recovering fine, "feeling very secondhand today". Should be fine, only landed on his head so not lots to damage.

Hello everyone, thanks for all well wishing messages. as Ian mentioned i am back at home now in the daytime tv recovery position !!!!
The crash was at the end of start /finish straight at the gerrards turn in point, evidently the motor siezed which in short order high sided me fortunately as Henchy kindly pointed out i landed on my head !I was taken from trackside to Leicester Royal Infirmary where i had a CT scan (which came back clear apart from skull fractures from my previous Mallory park crash) i stayed in Hospital for minimum observation period then escaped back to North Yorkshire.
My dad has stripped the motor since we got home and the main bearing on the drive side broke up and seized the crank up solid. Bit of a crap start to 2010 i will not be able to ride by Easter Mallory meeting as ive been knocked about a fair bit + all my riding kit has been destroyed !!!!
would like to extend our thanks to excelent medical team at Mallory and everyone that helped at circuit cheers folks !!!!!
Murder She Wrote is about to start and i simply cant miss that treat of Daytime programming so i am signing off now ........................

Hey you might be better back in the LRI if you're being made to watch daytime TV - but should ensure a quick recovery.  Glad to hear you're ok.  Wendy & Darren Deviant, Colchester Deviants Scooter Club
