If you would be interested in a set of "put under the wheels of your car" type starting rollers, the same as I use, talk to Gary Cotterel on 07785994205, It is a cheaper but less sophisticated alternative.

Roy Lambert advertised a set in "For Sale", but I don't know whether he got a buyer.

Danny,

Drop me a line on jerry.ashton(at)btconnect.com- I can help you with powerful and reasonably priced single user rollers - the wheel on and press a pedal type. No hernias as they are light too with all Aluminium construction.

Stuart Tonge is making some excellent quality rollers at a reasonable price. Stuart is contactable on 01767650503. I have seen a set and, like most of Stuart's work, extremely well engineered.

We had some made up by a local engineering company (conveyor specialists) cost us about 260 quid. Well over engineered and very heavy but start my lads supermono with ease. Ours are only 600mm (2 english feet!) between the frame which in retrospect is a bit narrow - probably 3foot would have been better. The down side is that it needs 2 people to use, the plus side is that you can spin almost anything up for as fast and as long as you car/ vans differential will handle.
One thing to note, we had the bright idea of having a brake  built in to the rollers (a T bolt into the end of one rollers) which makes it possible to drivethe van on and off rather than messing with a jack.
If you want any more details or pictures let me know.
