Stace

Great work. As you say, this perfectly proves what I said in the article that I circulated in the newsletter some time ago i.e. Sports Editors of local papers are desperate for news stories about local people. You don't have to be as successful as Stacey, just let them have your personal story and if you can submit a picture or two (Rusty Lee can always provide them) then all the better. Regards, Graham L

This is a good way to get advertising for our club. Graham Lawler has said it before. We should all do this with our local free paper. Im sure they will be happy to write a story on you where ever you finish in your race ?  http://www.icessex.co.uk/Sport.cfm?id=32020&headline=Motorcycle+racer+retains+title   Smiley

Well as we wre advertising the pembrey race via word of mouth and putting out flyers, we noticed that not many people knew about the event, maybe some advertising in local papers would be good, and not just in wales but for every round?

Thanks Gerry.

Henchy, you've got to get more boyos for BHR, or else it'll be Mallory 3 times a year for you!

Ian

We stoped going because the attendance last time was 129, 29 better than this time, a great shame. Sorry you had the blow up      Gerry

Mine broke at Pembrey 300 yards from the finish of my first race, when I was well in the lead.

Agreed, it's a great circuit. Let's hope we can go back.

Was the poor attendance due to the MGP?

Did we have a good attendance the last time we went? (Was it 2006?)

Thanks to all of you who made the effort to come down to my local race, its a nice change for me as I usually have a minimum of 3 hours to travel, the racing was close and the circuit is fast which is always fun, I hope to see better entries if we go back next year. Hope all the gys from the unlimited race are ok after their smash.

I was the other rider that caused a red flag incident on Sunday and even though I didn't need immediate medical attention the professional approach of the marshalls in the recovery van soon had them calling the doctor due to my strange behaviour after a bang to the head and the track doctor was very thorough.
Thanks to all involved.
